Michelle Alvarez-Crider
Founder & Owner | Licensed Aesthetician | Certified Laser Technician
Michelle Alvarez-Crider brings a unique combination of professional discipline, entrepreneurial experience, and a genuine passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin.
A longtime Capital Region resident since 1989, Michelle's professional journey began with service in the United States Air Force as a Military Police Officer. She later established and successfully operated a residential and commercial cleaning company, developing a strong foundation in business management, customer service, and attention to detail.
Driven by a desire to pursue a more personally fulfilling career focused on helping others, Michelle transitioned into the aesthetics industry, enrolling at The Aesthetics Science Institute in 2014.
Inspired by New York City's sophisticated beauty industry, she founded Body Glow New York in 2018 with a vision of bringing an elevated, personalized aesthetic experience to Saratoga Springs.
Through continued education and advanced professional training, Michelle expanded her expertise and transformed the business into the luxury med spa it is today.
As a licensed aesthetician, certified laser technician, and master spray tan artist, Michelle brings extensive training and a diverse skill set to her practice, with additional specialties in body sculpting, chemical peels, teeth whitening, and waxing.
Her professional philosophy centers on understanding each client's individual needs, providing honest guidance, and creating treatment experiences that inspire confidence.
With experience working with transgender and transitioning clients, Michelle is especially passionate about expanding access to respectful, personalized gender-affirming aesthetic services.
As the sole practitioner at Body Glow New York, Michelle personally provides each treatment, ensuring consistency, privacy, and the individualized attention every client deserves.
Outside the med spa, Michelle enjoys traveling, exploring new experiences, and spending quality time with her family and beloved dog, whom is usually there to greet you at your appointments.
