As you prepare for your BODY GLOW NEW YORK sunless tan, be sure to wear loose fitting, dark-colored, clothing and no jewelry. Tight clothing can rub or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows, chest, and waist. Before you head to your appointment, there are some important “don’ts” you won’t want to ignore.

1. Don’t create a sunless barrier by applying anything to the skin. Avoid applying lotions, creams, or perfumes prior to your session. Deodorant should also be used sparingly.
2. Don’t wear any makeup to your sunless tan appointment.

Once dry, we will apply a post-sunless moisturizing spray to add moisture, seal sunless results, and boost DHA reaction. Refrain from showering as long as possible, ideally 8+ hours (no longer than 4 hours for our Quickie spray tan). When showering after the required processing time, use warm water and rinse only. As with all DHA products, sunless color begins showing development approximately 4 hours post application and continues to darken for up to 24 hours. Note: Chlorine can cause fading.

Extend and build color between sessions by applying a color extending moisturizer, twice daily. Avoid a bath scrub or loofa, while showering, as this will fade color much faster. Wait until the day before your next session to use one.
